Lamb steaks and white beans

I have the Barefoot Contessa to thank for the lovely, romantic meal we had tonight. I found a gorgeous recipe for Lamb and white beans in Ina Garten’s Barefoot in Paris, and for once, had all the ingredients to hand. The original recipe called for a leg of lamb, but I went ahead with two lamb steaks. I modified the recipe only slightly and the white beans turned out beautifully.
