Buttered asparagus

Buttered asparagus is a quick and easy side dish to serve up.

Method

  1. Add a bunch of asparagus to boiling water. Boil for 4 minutes
  2. Drain and quickly transfer into a big bowl of iced water
  3. Heat a knob of butter in a saute pan
  4. Drain the asparagus and toss into the hot butter
  5. Saute for a minute, season with salt and pepper
  6. Serve up
