I had some Bramley apples and a pack of strawberries in the fridge. I didn’t really fancy making a tart or a cake as I am still tired from all the cooking I did for Christmas last week. I didn’t want the fruits to go to waste, so I decided to make a quick fruit crumble. I used the same recipe as the vegan crumble which I made for my Diwali dinner.
I didn’t have enough brown rice syrup so I added a bit of brown sugar. I served the crumble with a bit of double cream, and it was absolutely lovely. A big warm hug in a bowl.
