The only meal that Hubby and I get to eat together during the week is dinner. Recently, we’ve been going to Starbucks for some decaf coffee and muffins for breakfast on the weekends. This morning, I felt inspired to make us pikelets and enlisted Hubby’s help. I found an easy recipe in Bill Granger’s Bill’s Food. Hubby liked the sound of caramelised bananas and I decided to add in some blueberries to the caramel, and when it bled in, made it look like jam and it tasted heavenly with a slight hint of tartness. I hope this is a breakfast our little family will enjoy going forward.
